V 1.0 is an old version.
V1.2.2 was released 2 days ago, you can download it from here : https://api.github.com/repos/299Ko/299ko/zipball/refs/tags/v1.2.2
The issue you re talking about was fixed since many months 😉
For update your site, you have to unzip all files from zip, make a new install, and replace data folder with your own from old site.
For next versions, 299Ko will show you a message, and auto update with a simple click 🙂
299Ko is only in french right now, so how do you use it ? We want to make it available in english soon 😉
